This role is a high-impact commercial leadership position focused on driving new business growth within the utility services and UAS technology space. You will be responsible for shaping and executing sales strategies that expand market presence, develop new client relationships, and strengthen long-term partnerships across industrial and utility sectors. Acting as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, you will ensure service excellence while identifying opportunities for innovation and expansion. The position requires a strong mix of technical understanding, consultative sales expertise, and strategic leadership in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. You will also play a critical role in building scalable sales processes, mentoring future business development talent, and supporting cross-functional collaboration across regions. Accountabilities
- Lead national growth initiatives for UAS Utility Services, driving revenue expansion and market penetration across key industrial and utility clients
- Develop and execute sales and business development strategies aligned with regional and organizational growth objectives
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across enterprise, mid-market, and small business segments
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities using CRM systems to track performance and forecast growth
- Develop and implement location-specific growth plans, including client targeting, bidding strategies, and service line expansion
- Negotiate contracts and ensure all agreements meet internal legal, compliance, and risk management standards
- Strengthen client relationships through stewardship meetings, account management, and proactive issue resolution
- Collaborate with internal sales teams and operating managers to share leads, best practices, and technical expertise
- Support development of future sales leaders by establishing structured processes and mentoring talent
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, ethics, and customer satisfaction across all sales activities
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in utility services, UAS technologies, or related technical service industries
- Proven background in sales, business development, or marketing within industrial or technical organizations
- Strong experience selling complex, solutions-based services to engineering and operations stakeholders
- Demonstrated success working with large enterprise clients in high-growth, performance-driven environments
- Experience managing CRM systems and sales pipelines effectively
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to influence senior-level decision-makers
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities across diverse stakeholder groups
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to sales strategy
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
- Willingness to travel 50% or more of the time
- Technical undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
